The Rodel Foundation of Delaware was established in 1999 to help create one of the finest public education systems in the nation. The foundation focuses on improving public policy, supporting best practices, and engaging the public. In collaboration with public, private and civic leaders throughout Delaware, Rodel is working to implement Vision 2015, Delaware's acclaimed plan for world-class schools. The agency that we worked with on the project, 20nine, believes that before you get comfortable with a design you must feel comfortable with your designer. They enable you to express your ideas in an open environment where creativity flows and account executives don't come between you and the designer.

what we did

We worked with 20nine to create a fully editable site with many features including search, news, events, blog, forums and enewsletter sign up. We implemented a component-based backend content management system that enabled the client to flow all the text for the site and update as necessary. The site is simple, yet organized well for multiple audiences that come to the site for many different purposes - from parents to community activists to potential investors.
